Founder & President - Australia
Jetha Devapura, the founder of the initiative, was inspired by his personal experiences to address Sri Lanka’s high suicide rates and challenge the stigma surrounding mental health.
With a strong belief that everyone deserves a safe space to talk and seek support, he worked to create a service that could offer compassionate and accessible help to those in crisis.
In collaboration with Lifeline Australia and the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH) Sri Lanka, the program was established by combining local commitment with international expertise to build a trusted, life-saving support network for people across the country.
